Nat is a Chicago based potter. She landed in city to go to school for Theater. After working as an Actor and Scenic Artist, she transitioned to working in ceramics full time when the pandemic shut down theaters.
She had always been a painter--watercolor, theater sets, whatever she could get her hands on. So after moving to ceramics, it only made sense to hand paint all of her pieces.
Her work is inspired by the beautiful people, places, and things around her. She especially loves seasonal fruits and florals, as well as urban architecture.
Nat is a queer maker and releases art that represents her community throughout the year. Sales from those pieces get donated to Brave Space Alliance (a Chicago based Queer Organization) You can shop those pieces here!
